Introduction — Time To Lock In

Welcome to Run It Up V2

What's up. Welcome to the Run It Up course V2 official.

Time for you to lock in, brother.

I'm in another state right now. Completely away from home, completely away from friends. No social media. Nothing. Fully focused on this — and on the brand work running in the background that this course funds.

While I'm recording these modules, Claude is making ads for me in the background. I'll show you exactly how. That's sauce you haven't seen anywhere else. I promise you that.

This sub-page is the lock-in moment. It's the philosophical framing for everything that follows — across this module and across the rest of the case study. If you don't take this part seriously, the rest of the case study won't compound for you.

Where I am right now (the trench state context)

For context on the value being delivered:

  • I'm close to 8 figures in revenue
  • Currently fully focused on one brand, fully trenched in
  • The goal isn't another 8-figure revenue number. The goal is 7 figures a month in MRR — net profit MRR, not revenue. Every single month.
  • The work involves logistics, LTV mechanics, real brand-building, UGC pipelines, AI automation, and the leverage layers most operators aren't sharing publicly
  • I've taken time off the brand work specifically to package everything I do into this case study

You're not reading a guru's framework. You're reading the operating manual of someone who's actively doing this at scale, who paused real revenue to put it in writing for you, while running a parallel automation system that keeps the brand growing without me touching it.

That's the value being transferred. Treat it accordingly.

What's actually in this case study

When I came back with V2, I committed to updating it with everything I've learned since the original — everything we're doing in my brands, everything from the 1-on-1 students inside Dialed, everything I'm actively trenching on right now.

The full coverage:

  • Direct response marketing — the foundational craft most operators skip
  • The best documentaries, books, and resources that built me — gatekept inside the masterclass resource library
  • Real brand work — packaging, supply chain, custom development, LTV mechanics
  • UGC + AI UGC pipelines — the creative production layer
  • The leverage layers — how solo operators scale past the founder bottleneck

If you go through this case study and apply it, you will be better at e-commerce than you are right now. Not "you might be." You will be. There are no excuses inside this material.

The "Add To Your Bag" principle (the critical reframe)

This is the most important thing you'll take away from this entire module — and arguably the most important thing for how you consume the rest of the case study.

Everything I'm teaching you is to be used to ADD to your bag. Not to replace your bag.

When I go through courses myself, I'm never looking to completely transform into whoever's teaching me. I'm looking for specific things to add to who I already am.

The 2K analogy

Think about NBA 2K, or any character-building game where you're constructing your player from scratch.

You go out and train. You add new skills. You build a hybrid:

  • Jump shot: maybe Monte Ellis (smooth, quick release)
  • Crossover: maybe Kyrie (ankle-breaking, low-handle control)
  • Signature size-up: maybe LeBron (intimidation, power)

Three different NBA players. Three different play styles. None of them played the same game. But combine the specific elements you take from each, and you've built one extremely elite hybrid player that doesn't exist in real life — only as the version YOU constructed.

That's how you should be consuming everything in this case study.

  • My mindset → take what aligns with your values, leave the rest
  • My approach to brand building → take the structural principles, apply them to your specific brand context
  • My copywriting frame → take the Schwartz / Bernays roots, build your own voice on top
  • My AI automation stack → take the workflows, customize for your business
  • My affiliate community playbook → take the architecture, run it for your niche

You are not trying to become me. You are taking specific tools from me and adding them to the toolkit that builds YOUR operator profile. A profile that doesn't exist yet because you haven't constructed it.

Why this matters

The operators who consume content trying to become the creator burn out. They lose themselves. They start chasing tactics that don't fit their personality, their market, their capital, their stage.

The operators who consume content trying to add to themselves compound. They keep their identity intact. They selectively integrate what fits. Over years, they accumulate a unique stack of skills, frameworks, and perspectives that no single creator could have given them — because they pulled the right elements from dozens of creators.

Be a thinker. Be selective. Build YOUR character.

This is the same principle covered deeper in Module 10 → You Need to Psy-Op Yourself — the "roundtable / acknowledging genius" framework. Choose your heroes carefully. Steal what works. Skip the rest.

The gatekeep honesty

Brief honest aside on what's being given away here:

I'm teaching sauce I could legitimately charge $5,000 for — especially the affiliate marketing community playbook in Module 1. I've been gatekeeping that specific system for a long time. There are operators who are genuinely mad about what I'm putting into this case study.

Some of it I'm willing to give away because the operators who actually apply it will become long-term Dialed community members and 1-on-1 students. Most readers won't apply it. That's the reality of releasing knowledge. The math still works in my favor.

But understand what you're getting access to. This isn't beginner-tier "drop ship from China" content. This is the operator-tier playbook that I've used to scale brands past 8 figures and that the operators inside Dialed pay 5-figures to access live.

Treat the material with the respect that level of access deserves.

How to consume this case study

The operational instruction:

  1. Go through every module — don't cherry-pick the ones that sound fun. The ones that sound boring usually contain the highest-leverage operational sauce
  2. Take notes — physical notebook. Pen and paper. Not on your phone. The friction of writing forces filtering
  3. Run through it multiple times — first pass for orientation, second pass for application, third pass for mastery
  4. Look at what you're actually going to apply — not theoretical understanding, actual deployment in your business
  5. Lock in — the consumption is the easy part. The execution is where 95% of operators fail

There are no excuses. If you want to get it done, you can get it done.

The question is — how bad do you really want to get it done?

That's the lock-in challenge. Sit with it for a minute before you keep reading.

What comes next in this module

This module (Module 10: The Mindset I've Had to Develop) is the philosophical close of the case study. Three sub-pages cover the foundational mindset work that makes every other module compound:

  1. Defining Success — the target. What "winning" actually means once you've thought about it properly
  2. You Need to Psy-Op Yourself — the sub-agent installation work. How to actively reprogram yourself toward the right inputs
  3. What Actually is Focus? — the operational discipline. How to walk the path daily without stepping off

Without Module 10 working in you, the tactical modules don't compound. You'll burn out, drift off the path, or chase the wrong vehicle for years (I did — high-ticket drop shipping for a year and a half before I caught the mismatch).

With Module 10 working in you, every operational tactic in Modules 1-9 lands with full force because the underlying engine — your identity, your discipline, your direction — is built correctly.
